I am in Douala in Cameroon through to Friday of this week, and my mobile here is +237 95 243 206. The weather is quite cool, and there is rain as will be seen in the photo below which I took yesterday from Bonanjo overlooking the cathedral and towards the port. Douala is a low-rise city with most property investors being local individuals, although some of the main office buildings are owner-occupied. The banking and shipping sectors account for most office demand, but there is reasonable availability and rents are around CFA 10,000 /sq m /month having dropped 20-30% from their market high. Next week I am in Ankara in Turkey.
